The Nifty Fifties

The Students of Center Drive School in Orrington will be performing the musical The Nifty Fifties under the direction of Pauline Dickey and Philippa Harvey, on March 28 and 29. Both Showing at 6:30pm.
The play takes the audience to the Fifties where Gracie Stanley a student at Livermore High is in charge of the high school Hippity Hop. The play revolves around the difficulties one student has trying to make sure it’s a success. The Hippity Hop is being held in Louise’s Luncheonette, because the high school gym is torn apart for remodeling. Gracie has promised to deliver her distant cousin, rock star Ziggy Springer, for entertainment. Somehow things sort themselves out and the play comes to a rousing conclusion.
