Bangor Ballet Fundraises for Trip to France

  Nineteen dancers from Bangor Ballet and ten adult chaperones will be traveling to France in April, 2008, to participate in a dance exchange program with dancers in Vendome. While there, we will present an encore performance of "The Little Mermaid", which was originally produced in the Bangor area during the spring of 2006. Dancers from Vendome will perform in the ballet with our dancers.  Bangor Ballet dancers will be staying in host-homes of some of the French dancers for five days before heading off to Paris for a four day cultural adventure! To help pay for the trip Bangor Ballet is holding multiple fundraisers during the fall and winter.  We are collecting Shaw's receipts and Shaw's will donate 1% of the receipts collected.  Drop off or mail receipts to Bangor Ballet c/o Thomas School of Dance, 14 State St. Bangor, ME.  Returnable bottles can be dropped off at BIG RED Redemption Center, 12 Barker St., Bangor and ask for the bottles to be credited to Bangor Ballet.
