Corea Views, a series of oil paintings by Rachel Schiro of Corea and Bangor, is featured thru July in the Spurling House Gallery at Chapter Two, Corea.  Capturing the essential nature of a classic Downeast fishing village, Rachel's work evokes the subtle beauty of life in Maine.  Her art speaks of water and nature and the simple elegance of seaside life.  Complementing Rachel's work are minimalist landscapes by Sarah Brandon which are inspired by iconic images of Washington County, and oil pastels by Marianne Perlak that play on classic images of Schoodic through the use of color and light.  Chapter Two is located at 611 Corea Road, Corea.  For more information, contact Garry or Rosemary at 963-7269 or chaptertwocorea@aol.com [1].
