39th Annual Friends of Rockport Library Book Sale

The Friends of Rockport Public Library [FRPL] are having their 39th annual
Book Sale on July 11th and 12th at the Rockport Elementary School East
Campus. As always, literally thousands of quality books will be available at
extremely reasonable prices!  Of note this year is a much larger selection
of historical and nautical related books.

The Children's Book Sale, which will be from 2 - 4 PM on Friday, July 11th,
will be for youngsters only!  Kids are welcome to bring an adult, but only
children's and young adult books will be on sale during this time.

This year FRPL will be implementing a new twist to the sale . a 'Members
Preview Sale' Friday, July 11th before the regular sale.  This opportunity
will be from 5 - 7 PM.

Members will be able to browse and buy up to 15 books per individual and up
to 25 books as a family.  If you are not a member, you can sign up at the
library ahead of time or join right at the door to qualify to participate in
this special event. Annual memberships are $5 for individuals and $10 for a
family.

The main book sale will be from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 12th.
Everyone is encouraged to participate, with collectors and dealers
especially welcome to join in the fun!

The sale will pause after 1:30 PM and re-open shortly thereafter for 'by the
box' purchases at a fixed price.  After 3 PM, all books are available free
to a good home!
