In this five hour plein aire class in the Downeast fishing village of Corea, Nina Weiss will lead students through an exploration of the complex colors of nature.  Color theory will be explored to highlight and tease out the subtleties and richness of the beautiful Maine landscape.  Basic review of the color wheel, color groupings and relationships, color exercises and paint mixing will strengthen student's awareness of how to effectively utilize color in their landscape paintings and drawings.
