The HCC Learning Center is proud to be the central Maine

sponsor of the “Hook A Kid On Golf” Program.  The National

Alliance for Youth and the center have teamed up to introduce

children of the area to: how to play the game of golf, rules of

the game, etiquette, and friendly competitive rounds of golf.

 

This non-profit organization will help to bring kids and adults

together on the course and help to recreate a bond of family

ties and loyalty. Through scholarships to those that can’t

afford the higher costs of golf, the HCC Learning Center will

work with underprivileged families to see that the child gets

the equipment he/she needs and the support and guidance to

assist them in today’s world and that in the future.

 

There will be an informative session on April 5, 2008 at the

Hampden Country Club, 25 Thomas Rd., Hampden, ME at

12 Noon. We will be offering various programs throughout the

summer for everyone. Join us and lets get families back together.
