Peace Corps information session for mid-career and 50+ candidates
Do the words of JFK as he established the Peace Corps echo in your mind on occasion? Are you mid career and looking for a change? Is your family on their own, and it’s time to think about retiring? Maybe it’s time to think about Peace Corps again!
Peace Corps: General Information Session
Monday March 24th, 2008
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow St
Bangor, ME 04401
Peace Corps is actively seeking mid career professionals and 50+ volunteers. Older volunteers have a lifetime of experience and technical skills to share, are respected for their wisdom in the developing communities they work in, and serve as role models for younger Peace Corps Volunteers.
Come to this General Information Session about life in the Peace Corps. See a video about living overseas, and ask questions of a Peace Corps Recruiter and panel of returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Find out about the medical clearance process, benefits of service, and how to keep in touch with loved ones back home.
