History symposium (all-day Friday), contra dance with Black Socks String Band (Friday evening) lead off third Margaretta Days Festival celebrating Machias' role in the American Revolution in June 1775. Weekend events include soldiers' reenactment, period crafts and demonstrations, colonial supper, all at Univesity of Maine at Machias campus. Call 255-1327.
