If there is a quick and simple way to save your child’s life would you do it?

You may be surprised to learn that the majority of children’s car seats are installed improperly, which can lead to death or injury in an auto accident.

A Car Seat Check-Up Events is designed to provide parents and caretakers with the opportunity to learn and practice how to safely install your car seat. Education and installation typically takes 30 minutes per car, per seat.

In Maine, the child safety seat misuse rate is 98%, meaning 9 out of 10 car seats are installed incorrectly. Come to Toys R Us at the Bangor Mall from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Tuesday 8/19 and certified child passenger safety technicians will help educate you on how to properly install your child’s safety seat (s).
