End Date and Time:
March 16, 2008 - 8:00pm

Shake off those winter blues with Joyful Jazz!

On Sunday, March 16th, six musical friends will come together at the Ellsworth United Methodist Church, to raise money and collect food donations for area families who may be having trouble making ends meet.  Bruce Cassaday on horns, Brian Dyer Stewart on keyboards, Hugh Bowden on guitar, Don Carmichael on upright bass and Lynette Woods on drums will be joined by Ellsworth UMC Music Director Amy Briggs, performing jazz standards to warm your hearts - and help fill the fuel tanks of our Maine neighbors. Come join them for the glow that good music and great community service can bring.

Money collected at the door will be donated to the Operation Keep ME Warm heating assistance program. Bring a non-perishable food donation or paper good item (like diapers, toilet paper or paper towels) for the Emmaus Center, and save some money on your admission! The concert starts at 6:30 at the Ellsworth United Methodist Church at 21 Hancock Street, Ellsworth. Suggested admission is $10 for adults ($5 with a food or paper good donation) and $5 for children 12 & under (FREE with a food or paper good donation).
