I will be visiting the Bangor area in mid-December with my children for the first time. I got a few suggestions for good places to eat. Are there any suggestions for good places to go or things to do while there in mid-Dec.? I look forward to your responses. Thanks in advance.

How old are your children? 

How old are your children?  If they are younger - the Maine Discovery Museum is a great place for imagination, creativity and discovery.  It is located in downtown Bangor.  They also have a website to learn more.
